Great for backpacking

I eat these and many of Garden Valley's other beans when I'm backpacking. One of my favorite ways to eat them is to add dehydrated vegetables, curry powder, lemon powder and coconut milk powder and eat that over instant ramen noodles for a back-country curry. They hydrate easily with just boiled water. I've even done a cold soak. You don't have to buy expensive pre-made backpacking and camping foods when you can just make it yourself using these peas or other Garden Valley beans.
